Default Two quick recumbent questions

A nice ride this arvo; but I was reminded, as I am pretty much every
time I go out on the trike, that I keep meaning to track down the
cushion manufacturers somebody mentioned here a couple of years ago.
They were Danish, maybe, or Dutch; their service was very good, and
they made bespoke breathable cushions for different models of
recumbents. Does that jog anyone's memory?

I was stopped by a bloke in a powered wheelchair, who wanted
to know if there had ever been four-wheeled recumbents. I hadn't heard
of any, but he got me wondering. I should say, I'm not acting on his
behalf; this is purely idle curiosity, and I'm just wondering how
viable a four-wheeler would be. The weight would be pretty offputting,
I suspect.

Later: I decided to stop being so damn lazy, and have a look for
myself. Yes, of course there are tons of 4-wheelers around -

for instance; but has anyone tried one?

Ventisit?

The thing is that with a machine that's light and low the extra wheel
offers no real advantage, except perhaps in a few special cases like a
sociable that will be ridden solo quite a lot. The extra weight
(chassis as well as wheel) and the hassle of getting drive to a second
rear wheel isn't worth it when a single rear wheel provides ample
traction and stability. There's also the fact that with four wheels
you can quite easily end up with one in the air on an uneven surface
unless you have suspension or a flexible chassis.

I have this in my links:

This was the best one I've seen on the web:

No longer made though.

Thanks, folks, that was the one. Seventy-odd quid, eh? I'll have a
