Winnard, no worries just get one of those "skirt guards" they use on the
rear wheel of Dutch commuter bikes that's what I had to do, works great.

Personal experience is that it is not riding a bicycle that makes you
unable to produce children. Rather, it is producing children that
makes you unable to ride a bicycle.
