I'm a full blown racist. No more of that stuff if you please, this is a
respectable group.

Take note that he wasn't using it as a viable means of transport, he was
using it for amusement - which, after all, is exactly what a child's toy is
designed for.

Aah, but who says cycling is only for transport?

It's fun, healthy, skilful, enjoyable, sociable, economical, challenging
etc....

I'm sure there are many more positive attributes to be added!

I've started a list - feel free to add CHEERFUL stuff!
There is too much misery in this group.

There isn't any.

There is too much misery in this group.

Cyclists cause a great deal of misery.

Dave - Cyclists VOR. "Many people barely recognise the bicycle as a
legitimate mode of transport; it is either a toy for children or a
vehicle fit only for the poor and/or strange," Dave Horton, of Lancaster
University, wrote in an interim assessment of the Understanding Walking
and Cycling study. "For them, cycling is a bit embarrassing, they fail
to see its purpose, and have no interest in integrating it into their
lives, certainly on a regular basis."

And any pedestrian she meets while pavement cycling.
