British Medical Journal has some interesting info on cycling and
erectile dysfunction. Basically the incidence is increased by use of a
mountain bike compared with a road bike. Surprisingly cut out saddles
increased incidence but this needs further investigation.

Well that's just great. I'm doing Around the Bay in a Day next weekend
on my mountain bike.

Do you really think you're gonna feel like a shag
after ATB? If so, you're a better man than I!! ;-)

I think it is next weekend (check www.bv.com.au)
and it's around 210k (going the Sorrento-first direction).

Ow, and oh well. I'm already booked for that weekend well and truly and I
haven't turned my first century yet. How often does it run...yearly,
bi-annually?

I can also confirm that it is 210km in the Queenscliff-Sorrent
direction as well.

PS. ATB was my second 'long' ride after I bought my current roadi
(back in 1998). The first was the gran fondo stage of the Herald-Su
tour - 142k of pure hell! (for me, at any rate). ATB was child's pla
by comparison..

After? I thought the point was it was problematic during.
Maybe a specialised tandem design would make it possible
