Help! - Mounting Headlight on Ergo Bars
Steve Sr. wrote:
It looks like my only option left would be to clamp something around the stem spacers (35.1mm) or replace the stem spacers with something like this: http://www.sjscycles.com/store/vIndex.htm?item11041.htm http://www.sjscycles.com/store/vIndex.htm?item11040.htm Anyone have any idea of who would have these in the States? They look like a good idea. I think that you'll be much better off changing your stem and your handlebars. The accessory bar is an interesting idea, but it's rather ridiculous to have to resort to something like this. That's a huge spacer too, if you look at how short many bikes cut the steer tube, you'd also have to replace the fork and steer tube to use the Thorn Accessory bar. You can order the Thorn from the U.K.. This is one of many accessories that are not available in the U.S.. |
