If it were proven to your satisfaction that speed cameras killed
people, would you still carry on supporting them, simply because they
make things difficult for those scumbag drivers?

I was on marshalling duties for our first time trial today and I went
in the car as I had to go to work afterwards. There was a safety
camera van on the road I was on but I didn't give it a single thought
as I was doing 40 mph anyway as usual. Later on, I was passed by many
drivers going over 50 in a 40, but I caught all of them up later down
the road, so I can't see what advantage they gained, in fact they used
more fuel to get to the same point at the same time as me, so more
fool them.

If you can make me believe that speed cameras save lives then I would
support them. I would also believe that the moon is made of cheese, if the
Apollo crew had brough back samples of Edam. I might even believe that you
weren't a viscious, mentally retarded little FW if you acted like a human
being occastionally.

None of these events are likely to come to pass though, are they, especially
the last one. About as likely as me stopping at a red light on my bike. ;-)

There we have it. Absolute proof that at least some of the car-haters
on this group are prepared to support anti-motorist measures even when
they know that they're killing people. They hate motorists, and other
road users, that much. Utter, utter scum.

I just love the way that Glug keeps showing how true everything I've
been saying is.

(Assuming of course that Glug meant "cost lives" instead of "save
lives", otherwise what he just said makes no sense. It's the kind of
mistake that someone might make when they were, ooh, I don't know,
trolleyed.)

I would love to know who you think that you are talking to. You are
comprehensively blocked by almost everyone on here and ignored by almost
everyone else. I'm only talking to you because it takes my mind off pain.

No, I still haven't cracked the bottle yet, so the fact that I missed a word
out is bacause I am obviously not taking this exchange of trivia too
seriously. Let me carify my position, anyway.

If you can prove that speed cameras DON'T save lives, then I will forever be
committed to the cause of having them wiped from the face of the planet.
That ok for you? However, no such proof exists.
