Default Yo, Scharfie, are you still looking for a mixte for your wife?

Here's a sturdy, well-specified low-stepover model of a highly regarded touring bike, a version of the bike Sheldon had. It's in the UK, and likely to be pricey even pre-loved, but it isn't even run in, and it will last your wife for her life, and be handed on through the children and grandchildren. There is no one who has owned one who doesn't speak highly of these exceptional bikes.

It's probably too masculine for Scharfie. It has a "full Shimano brakeset".
