Not unlike this solution to 'computer problem' http://www.yellowjersey.org/photosfr...t/FIXCOMPU.JPG That's only part of the solution. It is a good idea to sacrifice burnt offerings to the computah gods before attempting any repairs. I keep a supply of old motherboards, suitable for immolation, near the hibachi. Please note that torching the item to be repaired is counterproductive. -- Jeff Liebermann 150 Felker St #D http://www.LearnByDestroying.com Santa Cruz CA 95060 http://802.11junk.com Skype: JeffLiebermann AE6KS 831-336-2558 |

Perhaps change the fire selector switch from full auto to semi auto? Good Lord! This here is Agent 3.3, it don't have no full automatic :-) I'm on Forte 8.00/32.1272. Step on ctrlN for full auto sending. https://shortcutworld.com/FORTE/win/Forte_Shortcuts Think of using two fingers as a safety feature. Actually, what happens is if the NNTP server is slow in responding with an ACK message after you send your first message, Forte will time out and send the message again, and again, and again, until it receives an ACK. Same with email when using some MUA (mail user agents). That sometimes happens to me, on my slow DSL line, when I'm streaming a video and simultaneously try to send email or a Usenet postings. -- Jeff Liebermann 150 Felker St #D http://www.LearnByDestroying.com Santa Cruz CA 95060 http://802.11junk.com Skype: JeffLiebermann AE6KS 831-336-2558 |
