I sometimes get ****ed at the police, and know quite a few of them who are corrupt; but I can't imagine living in a town or county in which there is not a police force. That would make for anarchy. I know a fair number of cops and ex-cops, mostly as riding buddies. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I've never had a hint that any of these guys were corrupt. I've encountered a couple of very ignorant cops. But what's that saying? "Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity." -- - Frank Krygowski |
