Four men and cyclist get into fight after Camberley near collision
QUOTE:
Four occupants of a car and a cyclist have been involved in a fight following a near collision in Camberley. The incident happened in Kingston Road, at the junction with Ballard Road, at around 3.15pm on Wednesday (July 29). A black Peugeot with four men inside was involved in the near collision and an altercation between the occupants and the cyclist ensued. During the disagreement, police say damage was caused to the car doors, windscreen and tyres. The men in the car then left the scene, followed by the cyclist. Camberley resident, Taylor Wright, lives very close to where the incident happened. On Wednesday he told SurreyLive: "The scene I saw was the car up on the curb (SIC), empty, the wheels totally destroyed and there was a crack in the windscreen." Mr Wright took photos of the incident's aftermath, it showed police tape had been set up to cordon off the area. Police closed off Kingston Road at the junction with Bracknell Road to deal with the incident. A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm, robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in relation to the incident. He remains in custody. Officers are now appealing for witnesses to help with their investigation and have also released a description of the cyclist. He is described as having black hair and brown eyes, Asian, wearing a grey hooded top, grey jogging bottoms and trainers. Both the top and bottoms had a dark blue strip along the arms and side of the legs. A Surrey Police spokesperson said: "If you have any information or dash cam footage which could help, please contact us quoting crime reference number PR/45200079183 via webchat on our website surrey.police.uk, online or calling us on 101. "If you do not wish to leave your name, please call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111." https://www.getsurrey.co.uk/news/sur...after-18688685 |

QUOTE: A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm, robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in relation to the incident. He remains in custody. ENDQUOTE Since, as a "boy", he isn't one of the "four *men* inside the car", then who is he and what was his involvement with the five actors in the incident? He can't be the cyclist because the police *appear* to be still searching for him (assuming the journalist has his tenses right). |
