I thought it was knee strain or tendonitis or something like that
last year.

Mark

He hit his knee on his cycle last year.

Why is Vuelta winner Menchov never mentioned in any contendah lists?

He's not American. You're only allowed to name Americans as contenders
on this group.

Rogers, Rasmussen, and Evans are Americans?

Blair is Bush's poodle, so by imperial adoption, yes, of course.

Rasmussen?

Gee whiz, you're picky. The empire isn't that picky. Anyway, any
winner will get adopted. Or have democracy reestablished. Or become a
guest at Guantanamo.

Wouldn't that have read "SHE hit HER knee DURING HER cycle last year"?
;-)

Rasmussen would be good at hunger striking anyway.

It isn't so good if you die of starvation after missing one meal...

No... the winner will be some young domestic that nobody has thought
of, who gets in a (typically doomed) breakaway, after which the rest of
the peleton is delayed for 3 hrs when a train crashes in the middle of
the road, emitting toxic gases (etc).

Or maybe Boonan will accidentally win the overall while going for the
green jersey. Of course he will get the green and spotted jerseys as
well. Eyebrows will rise when it is discovered that his hematocrit has
gone from 38 to 49.99... but hell, we need a hero in the worst way...

Well, their native language is American I think.
