Default Saddle sore

I got a nasty saddle sore after riding for the first time in a while. It's the
abscess type of sore (a "furuncle") under the skin, right where the sit bone
is. It's been there for 6 days now and seems to be getting better, but very
slowly.

Anyone else ever have one of these? How long did it take to heal? Did you keep
riding while it was there? Once you get one of these, are you prone to getting
one again? (btw, I use padded cycling shorts).

Hot baths increase circulation, and will accelerate healing. Twice a da
for 20 minutes plus. But don't sit on the abcess while your in there
