Pavement riding scumbag jailed for attacking elderly couple thatmade him brake.
"He was cycling on the pavement towards the Silcocks. He applied his
brakes to try and avoid hitting Mrs Silcocks. "Following the defendant was a female and she collided with the back of the defendant. "Mr and Mrs Silcocks crossed the road to get out of the way." Mr Posner said Richards, having taken exception to the way the couple looked at him, then cycled after them and cut across their path. Mr Posner told the court: "He skidded the bike to the floor. He went up to Mrs Silcocks in an aggressive manner, with his chest puffed out and his muscles tensed. "Mr Silcocks stood in front of his wife to protect her. He has problems with blood pressure, diabetes and arthritis. "He felt he had to protect his wife." The court heard Richards (25) then said: "Come on old man hit me, hit me" before punching the pensioner in the face and grabbing his walking stick, leaving him dazed and confused. Mr Silcocks fell over, grabbed hold of Richards' legs but was shaken off and rolled into the road. Mrs Silcocks then grabbed the walking stick off Richards and told him if he hit her husband again she would hit him with the stick. As people stopped at the scene and police were called, Richards got on his bike and cycled off. The 26-year-old, whose address was given as Chowns Close in Thame, pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm. http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/Cyclist...ail/story.html |

I'm elderly but would relish being attacked by a cyclist. "Richards had 12 previous convictions for 16 offences, including assault and battery, on top of a warning for ABH when he was aged just 13" "Simon Cooper, defending, said his client had mental health issues and bitterly regretted his actions". Well, that must describe most cyclists. |

Not so much of a man when faced with a 65 year old woman armed with a walking stick. Still, I can't help but wonder if a stiff appropriate community sentence might not serve the blighter better. Eight months of weekend work changing the bedsheets in an old people's home, perhaps. As people stopped at the scene and police were called, Richards got on his bike and cycled off. He has not searched the web for a house number and post-code. Tom Crispin found it necessary to actually look up a house number and post-code and then print the full details of an address. I am surprised you cannot spot the difference: is it perhaps too subtle for you? |

You are one sad *******. TOM CRISPIN is one of the saddest people on usenet. He is a failed teacher. He is a well known stalker, having scoured the internet for personal details of other posters, which he has then posted. These included family photographs of children - and address details. He publishes the full address details of people who have had an incident with a cyclist. The only reason he would do this is to encourage vigilante action. He finds it necessary to tell people on usenet how well off (he thinks) he is, at every opportunity; he must think people are interested and that they believe him. He is also a pervert, having described his thoughts of female sex organs sliding down car windscreens. Tom Crispin is a cyclist and clearly mentally ill. |
