It's close but he'll probably gain some time in the TT. So he
needs the four riders behind him ti abandon in order to claim
the coveted DFL title.

Since the last stage is a TT you've got to think a lot of guys
are only riding for pride. The abandons could be a long list.
Guardini earned his pay with the win today, you would think he'd
be looking for a way out.

Close but no cigar. Phinney missed out on the Rosa to Nera
transition by two riders. He made a good effort though.
