Owasippe (they say) closes to bicycling for the year on October 1st,
which means Saturday is the last day to ride it. Owasippe is near

I blew off work and rode it today. It's in nice shape despite some
down trees and muddy spots near the marshes. Very little sand, which
is unusual in west Michigan. If you're in or near Muskegon, skip work
one day this week and hit it before the season ends there.
