Default Storing Tubulars long term

Rubber continues to "cure" after first cooked. That process is a hardening
process that will eventually lead to cracking as it ages in an environment
exposed to the elements. UV and Ozone are particularly damaging to most
rubber compositions found in tires. Ozone will reduce their life rapidly.
If you are storing do it in a dark, air tight container away from and
electric motor that might create ozone.

I personally like fresh tires that have been properly cooked by the
manufacturer.

Looking for opinions and options on storing some tubular tires long
term... and wondering how long rubber can stay fresh (5 years ? 10 ?)

A friend who is an engineer (but not a bike rider) says to store them
in a thick black bag in a cool place and he suggested that without UV
light that they would not deteriorate. He suggested that "no air" in
the bag would be best but I'm not sure that's so practical in the
home.

Opinions and experience ?

Thanks
