Bike Gear for Clydesdales
Other than the fact that cycling isn't as big in the U.S. as in Europe, is
there any reason that there are so few American made cycling gear? I can't imagine why Nike, or others, don't jump on this core market. Perhaps the market isn't as wide as I imagine. Any one know the answer? BTW, I do realize that Nike, on others, make some cycling clothing. What I'm asking about are shoes, shorts, jerseys, etc., in U.S. sizes (XXL XXXL, etc.) American cyclists. Thanks! |

Performance has American XXXL (54-56") in Jerseys and XXL (44-46") in
shorts. You have to go to the cheaper models to get this sizing. |

Canari is made in the US. San Diego, I believe. Louis Garneau is Canada
based but suprisingly has their stuff made in the US too. Both have good quality (better than most PI IMO) and good value products. |
