I wonder if that writer noticed the crowds lining the race route.
Well, maybe he doesn't have cable...

The oldest "doping" reference for the Tour he could find was in the
20's?

"Richard W. Pound".

More proof, you can't find dick in the Globe.

Just wondering: What does this idiot say about soccer (after Operation
Puerto), USA football, baseball, basketball, track, swimming, rowing,
*bodybuilding*-- any/all, including chess?

Bonds is the only "cheater" in baseball? 300 lb. high school football
players? How many bike racers are USA citizens, compared to all the
"ball sports" jocks in the States?

Cycling is a little sport that can't-- or won't-- defend itself, and
has become a scapegoat as a result. Piling on (while yanking the
panties up) is all a part of that deal. --D-y

There is very little testing in High School Football

Some sports have very good testing procedures, both in and outside
competition. Athletes make it their place to adhere to all aspects of
this, including telling testers where they are, out of respect for
their sport and out of respect for their fellow competitors. Rammassen
has no respect for his colleagues, competitors or sport.

Of course we can find cheaters in every sport. By in cycling it is an
epidemic.
