Default dog crash

AÂ*dog runs into the road at a race: does this sound familiar?
It just happened again. Philippe Gilbert was one of the victims
of the ensuing crash

Anybody see the dog? Was it a large or small dog?
Did the racers weave or ride straight?

It was a ****ing ginormous dog, Fast Phil was looking like he was gonna punch
the **** out of it's owner but was restrained (shame).

A good thing he was restrained.
Cannot plant your feet to strike
an effective blow in cleats.

Good to see the Belgian papers catching the *important* action.

That's the most action we've seen from Gilbert all Tour.

Love the picture.
People generally have no idea how
frightening a world class athlete can be.

Yeah you do get the feeling from it that Phil was more than slightly miffed.
Without the intervention the numb-nuts dog owner might have had a cleat shaped
rectal cavity for the rest of his life.

This family got a good view of that.

I do feel sorry for the little girl (and the dog). Not so much for the
adults in that picture.

There are times the collar needs to be tight so the dog can't slip his
head out. First, for the poor dog. Which looked like one of those "aw
shucks" Newfoundlands who probably just got excited/scared and ran
into the road. Lucky it didn't get hit by a car or a motorcycle, for
all concerned.

Dogs do not belong at cycling events, no matter what, in the first
place.
