Sean Yates directed a masterful race. The only difference
between him and Johann Bruyneel is that Bruyneel speaks
intelligible English.

And also Yates was physically present at the TdF.

LOL :-) I don't "LOL" much nowadays as it is an abused term, but that's
funny 'cos it's true. A match made in heaven really - Wiggins and
Yates. Both down to earth and not about to take themselves too
seriously. Sean went back to gardening for a living and riding TTs when
the retired FFS, you can't get much more down to earth then that.

I think Wiggins is easy to understand - he's just another bloke on a
club run, cracking jokes and sprinting for the town sign :-)

They'll try and give him a knighthood now. I do hope he resists.

He will not resist, not in the slightest.

Someone with a name "Old Fritz" commenting on an Englishman's speach; priceless. Its evolution in the "working" class a long time prior to, and not necessarily in concert with, the ruling classes written and spoken English.

Mick didn't.

It was an outrage, I sent my OBE back and wrote a stiff letter to the Times.

May I comment on an Englishman's spelling?
And poverty of proper line endings?

Why don't you ask the Englishman in question?
