Tales of Tribal Chieftains, and sorta like Kung Fu, the "Way of the Warrior" as in Lion's, Tigers, Bears, Wolves, Pigs, Eagles, same as the Kung Fu, Frog's and Mantis, Tiger...................... Way of the Bar Har, "Cave Bears"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was only a metaphor of eating. I meant rather a kind of "social canibalism" or "mental canibalism", when it's not flesh being eaten but social, mental etc. energy in forms of Money, Prestige, Qi and so forth. There is mo other Dr Lecters than those in white collar and white gloves, eating the brains of living Monkeys. You mentioned Kung-Fu... I actually exercise some of this Art, my current teacher, who gives me instruction in the Shaolin Boxing and Baguazhang is a Tudi of Shifu Zhang Fengjun. The Tiger Descends from the Mountain, the Crane Spreads his Wings... The White Monkey Gives the Fruit... The Lion Plays Ball etc. etc. There's a sort of cannibalism going on around the world: CULTURAL CANNIBALISM. The signs are everywhe SUVs, malls, Hollywood... Anyone not bowing to it is a misfit monkey in a world of lions. I'm trying to ride a bike in that jungle and can't... without fear for my life. |

There is no posibility of the original text in the society. We all are convicted to a kind of CULTURAL CANIBALISM. It seems to me like a ONE WAY street. Our masters determine what fast food we eat, how we move around, who's friend and who's enemy. I'm trying to ride a bike in that jungle and can't... without fear for my life. Who's not? People in Holland and Scandinavia still seem to be holding a good chunk of their identity and riding bikes without undue fear for their lives. This seems insignificant, but I'm sure our individual contribution to help save the planet is greater by riding a bike than by going vegetarian. |

Humans are beasts waiting to be tamed!

We need a way of life that shuns excess and rewards frugality. Our leaders and elites must stop their use of SUVs, palaces and gated communities as a symbol of their power. This is the beast that we must tame before we can get to changing the monkey. We seem to be on the same page here. The problem is how to tame the corporate world oligarchy. The greedy idiots in charge drive the "wants" most of society turns into "needs," through product/lifestyle advertising. The trick is being happy with what you have - not what someone else wants to sell you. One might even conclude the world order actively works to stifle happiness, reason, and cooperation. I tend to view humans as herding animals . . . They are insecure without their herds be it nationalism, religion, fraternal clubs, political parties, etc.. The herd then determines what its members should believe in. A particular herd makes one feel secure, so there's no desire or compulsion to challenge the herd's beliefs - or the beliefs of a very small number of the herd. Go along to get along, don't rock the boat, don't be outspoken, even when dealing with the ridiculous - do so with such tact that your disapproval is not registered. All taught by our society. Not an atmosphere that encourages change . . . --- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - I think we agree down to symbols you use: HERD, PREDATOR... HOW THE BLACK SHEEP WAS EXPELLED One day the Lion, who had been thinking how to best eat the sheep, decided to dress as one of them... This way the common sheep trusted the new sheep more and more every day, some confessing to him, others voting for him, and most allowing to be fleeced by him... Meanwhile, the Black Sheep --who was able to see through camouflage-- thought this way: "If he lies, and takes the lion's share, lion he is..." And that's the reason why from then on the Black Sheep wasn't allowed to mingle anymore with the simple and common sheep... *** But let me say something else: Even if you realize there's a NO predatory way and want to be different, they eat you alive! I've been trying to RIDE A BICYCLE to do errands and outings, and I feel under attack. Well, I'm inside my cage all the time and thus I have the time and the need to fight this way. THERE'S HOPE THOUGH: COMING OUT OF THE JUNGLE http://webspawner.com/users/donquijote1 |
