Default FS: NOS 55cm Schwinn Peloton frame, fork, stem: $225 shipped

This is a new, old stock, 1999 Schwinn Peloton frame that has never been
ridden or even built up. It came from a distributor's warehouse where it has
been stored since it was delivered from Schwinn.

This frame is made of super strong and light Reynolds 853 tubing with a
lightly used steel fork. Reynolds 853 air-hardening steel tubing is much
sought after by frame builders for its superior strength to weight ratio:

http://www.reynoldscycles.co.uk/steel853.html

This frame measures 57cm from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of
the extended seat tube, or 55cm from the center of the bottom bracket to the
top of the top tube, or 54cm from the center of the bottom bracket to the
center of the top tube. The top tube measures 55.5cm.

The frame is a beautiful inkwell blue with a white panel on the downtube
with Schwinn decaled in black script. The chainstays are s-curved ala
Serotta, the rear brake cable is routed through split stops at 7 o'clock on
the top tube,
takes a clamp-on derailleur, has two sets of water bottle bosses, takes an
English threaded bottom bracket, the rear vertical dropouts are 130mm wide,
and the 1" headtube is 133mm tall. The black threaded steel fork that comes
with this frame was used only for a short time while a fellow waited on a
warranty return on a carbon fiber fork on a different frame than this one.

There is a paint chip on the top of the bottom bracket shell, a few
scratches around the headtube where the frame hung in the warehouse, and a
few slight marks from shop wear where the frame was moved around in the
distributor's warehouse. Overall, this is a very nice and light steel frame.
The black steel threaded fork is included, and I will supply an open-front
quill stem.

$225 professionally packed, shipped, and insured to the lower 48 United
States for the new frame, lightly used fork, and stem.

Pictures available on request.

Thanks!
