Are you out there? SWB (Single wheeled bicyclist) looking for other
unicyclists in the Boston area to get together with. I'm new to this
sport since Christmas 2003, ride a street legal 20" Torker and have
never done this before. (Posting my first new thread) Yeah I know, it
does sound like a personal ad. But putting that aside, are there any
other Boston area Unicyclists out there reading these forums?

Not to say they're snobs or anything, but I don't know if Ben, Joey
(Cohn) and Dan want to hang around with any "bicyclists," even the
one-wheeled kind.

Just kidding. Welcome to the community!

Thank you for the referrals. I will look them up.

(COHN) AND DAN WANT TO HANG AROUND WITH ANY \"BICYCLISTS,\" EVEN THE
ONE-WHEELED KIND. *JOHNFOSS*

I WILL BE MUCH MORE CAREFUL IN THE FUTURE USING THAT \"B\" WORD. DON'T
WANT TO BE OSTRACIZED BEFORE I HAVE A CHANCE TO RIDE WITH OTHERS.
BY THE WAY, WHAT HAPPENS TO UNICYCLIST THAT ARE KNOWN TO USE THE \"B\"
WORD TOO MUCH? DO THEY HAVE TO RIDE AROUND WITH A SCARLET \"B\" ON THEIR
CHEST TO WARN OTHER UNI RIDERS TO STAY AWAY FROM THAT EVIL RIDER?
Thank goodness I found out early in my riding career.

Thank you for the welcome!

On these forums, if you -must- say the B word, it is -only- permitted to
say it as 'b*ke.'
Welcome to the forums!

*BIKE!!!!* Oh my god i said it!

I know you guys are being tongue and cheek but sometimes it bothers me
the way others are so spartan about refering to it as 'the B word' and
such.

I think bikers can be very cool. They are already half way there....or
is it -twice- way there?

I already confused myself haha.

Thats all for my micro-rant.

Well, with regard to Boston riders, we ended up with 6 last Friday at
MIT. Pretty good considering it was spring break and only 4 jugglers
showed up.

The theme here is definately freestyle, I don't want to give campus
police any reason to ask me to stop riding, or to think that unicycling
is dangerous.

At any rate, I would love to see some people from these forums,
especially those I don't already no show up.

The jugglers meet in Lobby 10 4-6pm Fridays, I have been shooting for
riding in Lobby 13 5-7.

Oh yeah, and Saturday I started trying to one-foot wheel-walk. Go me!

Why would you need two feet, if you only have one wheel?
