Anyone got an e-mail address for this putz?

This should be more effective:

It's questionable how much good that would do. The editor wouldn't know any
better than the writer, who apparently works for the "Tribune" Olympic
bureau. The Sun Sentinel is owned by the Tribune Co. of Chicago.

As I mentioned earlier, emailing Sharon Robb, the sportswriter for the Sun
Sentinel who covers sports like cycling, running & triathlons would be your
best bet to make sure the piece is factually correct.

Yes, but my original post is a syndicated news item that reached a number of
news sources...

And the original author will continue writing summary reports for the Tribune
Olympic Bureau, so I think I'll just email him, j c h e r w

How about:

"ATHENS, Greece (AP) -- Sara Carrigan's tactic was questioned. The result
cannot be.

Carrigan essentially drafted off Judith Arndt for much of the final lap,
then slingshot past the German in the final straightaway to win the gold
medal Sunday in the Olympic women's road cycling race. "

Yeah, really dirty riding by Carrigan.

Cycling: Racing through downtown Athens and winding his way up to the
historic Acropolis, Italian Paolo Bettini surged past Portugal's Sergio
Paulinho win the men's road race. The race was contested in blistering
heat that kept spectators away from open areas. Bettini did not race in
the Tour de France, instead concentrating on the Olympics. Of course,
the absence of Tour winner Lance Armstrong took much of the luster from
this race. Tyler Hamilton, a teammate of Armstrong's at the Tour, was
the only American to finish the race in 18th place.
