Adapter for "Dunlop" Valve

Hello everybody,

I recently moved to the Netherlands where most bikes use the Woods
(Dunlop) valve. The Presta side of my Topeak Joblow Sport floor pump
with the TwinHead fits but does not stay in place making it impossible
to pump with both hands.

Is there an adapter I could use to fix this? Are there any other
solutions?

Get the Schrader adapter, so you can re-pump at gas stations (use small
amounts of air ;-)

On the other hand, you can exchange the inner tubes for ones with
Schrader valves (if it's your bike). I had more flats from bad Dunlop
valves than from punctures... In my oppinion these valves are the worst
of all with the Sclaverland (the ones using a small screw) being the
best - you also get a reliable pressure reading on your pump's manometer
and they keep the air in really well ;-) But you need smaller diameter
holes on your rims.

The "Twin-Head" is the one where you have Schrader on one side and
Dunlop/Sclaverland on the other one? Check if the rubber seals are
intact, but then it should fit fine - I usually need two tries until I
get it onto the valve right, but then it works very well...
