All Panaracer current clinchers are nylon AFAIK.
There are several Panaracer tubulars with cotton casing.

wonderful tire....ebullient road feel....transistional tween road and race

fragile sidewalls...no cracking

I may have used the last 3-4 from Nashbar during a time of desperation when 27" CONTI TT ran out or ? long time now....

Messengers then came in but Messengers tho extra durable are/were wooden

we had a long running diatribe where I would go on abt cotton sidewalls then the groupo would state the tire never existed.

If there were concrete cracks about those tires would go directly into one.

Conti has a road going version of Conti's club racer tire and a practice version of the club racing tire then the club racer's tire...pick one.

Specialized Turbos are soft grippy and round so yawl can lean the frame over over over scrape scrape...so soft (8 years ago) that out of lateral true a bit ruined the tire I 3-4 miles

Vittoria Corsa Slicks 320 TPI cotton. Unfortunately they are not that durable so I only use them for events. Otherwise I agree with Andrew. I use Pro 4s for long distant events and summer training.

Ditto, and no offense to the bricks and mortar guys, but you can always find the Michelin on-line pretty cheap (as racing tires go). Not the case with Contis. For winter fast riding, I really do love the Conti 4Seasons, but those are super expensive and a Christmas splurge.

The Conti GP4000 feel nice, too, but IMO, they have weak sidewalls that are prone to damage. With the much higher price, I always stick to the latest version of the Pro Race -- or a version behind if they are on sale.
