Default Wearing double biking shorts trumps potholes, scrotal injury

Just discovered this, and would like to share it with all.

Wearing two padded bike shorts makes my hardtail bikes feel like
they've got suspension. Also protects my scrotums from the so-called
micro-scrotal injury.

If anyone else has good ideas on how to soften road bumps, please
chime in.

Also makes you feel like you're wearing an extended-wear diaper.

If you have two scrotums (scrota?), maybe you need two pairs of shorts.
But don't swallow the bicycle seats (except the one I sell) cause injuries
bit.

Get out of the saddle. Use your legs, not your butt, to absorb the shocks.

geez, david. i didn't think you were that old. with any luck i'll still be
in the saddle at your age. i have been greatly inspired by men in their 70s
i've met while touring one of whom could trump my thirty year-old ass.

keep riding!

But they *may* also make you look like a chimpanzee in heat ;-)

My t'other half has a Nike to with a single large rear pocket. When he has that
pocket stuffed full of cycling bits and pieces, I fondly refer to him as "Old
baboon bum". Thankfully, he has a sense of humour ;-)

Cheers, helen s

Sure. Get a riding partner that you really, really want to screw after
a ride. You'll be amamzed at how light you are on the saddle, trying to
avoid that post-ride numbnuts feeling. :-)

your stated experience with extended-wear diapers. geez, david. it's a joke.
i hate spelling them out. presumably if you'd never worn extended wear
diapers you couldn't have made that statement comparing wearing two shorts
to them.

perhaps. i hope to find out. i'm sure you do as well. being dead is a
drag. subtract 33 from your age and shoot me an email when it's time.
