Default Cyclist seriously injured after crash with Vauxhall Corsa

A cyclist suffered serious injuries after being involved in a crash with a Vauxhall Corsa.

Emergency services were called to the junction of New Chester Road and Magazine Road in Bromborough, Wirral, on Tuesday, to reports of a crash.

The crash between a Vauxhall Corsa and a male cyclist, took place at around 7.25pm.

Pictures show police parked up at the scene and a sign in the road diverting traffic.

Police said the cyclist, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital with a serious injury to his arm.

He also suffered from other minor injuries during the crash.

A spokesperson from the force said: "The driver of the car stopped at the scene to assist with enquiries.

"Anyone who witnessed the incident can contact @MerPolCC or 101 with reference 20000462904."
