Campy Conversion 7speed Shimano to Campy 10speed spacing
Update on cassette build. BTW the subject line should read 7 speed
Shimano to _9_ speed Campy! Campy 9 speed requires 3mm spacing between cogs. I dissasebled the 7 speed Shimano cassette and replaced the 3.2mm spacers with a combination of 1.0 and 2.0 spacers. In addition I added a 1.5mm spacer on the inside of the largest cog to take up slop. Shifts great. The extra shifter click was left at the smaller cog which has a built in 3.2mm spacer. One last shift down the cassette brings it down to the newly adjusted max derailer setting at a spacing of 3.2mm. Phil |
