Default 31 drivers have been pulled over by police in Hull

QUOTE:
"A total of 31 drivers have been pulled over in Hull as a new police operation got under way on Wednesday.

The motorists were all given safety briefings by officers who were beginning a new clampdown on dangerous driving in the city.

Humberside Police have teamed up with the city council to launch Operation Safe Pass to crack down on drivers passing cyclists in an unsafe way.

Three people were stopped in just the first 30 minutes after the operation was launched.

Just minutes into the new initiative, which is urging drivers to leave a safe passing distance of 1.5m, driver Paul Bunting, 51 - who is a keen cyclist himself - was pulled over.

He admitted to not thinking about the cyclist who he passed.

Trained cyclists armed with GoPro cameras cycled up and down the busy route, close to the junction with Anlaby Road, alerting the police when an unsafe overtaking manoeuvre had taken place."

ENDS.

WELL DONE - APPLAUSE (((***)))

I suspect the cyclists were 'Cycling in the middle of the road', apparently that justifies attempted murder.

I know that road as I used to live near there and it is so narrow that you could be in the gutter and still be passed too closely.
