But note the very content of your own post: it was only when those
voters found their economic survival threatened that they finally
noticed what was going on. Are they smart enough not to be fooled by
the GOP/neo-cons again? I don't know that I have that faith.

Yeah, that's what was so amazing, that so many voters willingly voted
against their own best interests for so long, because they bought in to
the Republican pandering. There are still a lot of those people out
there, considering that McCain got 47% of the popular vote.

You mean like anyone in a coal state voting for Obama after he flat out
promised to bankrupt the industry?

Or anyone who heats his or her home after Obama flat-out stated that his
policies would cause energy prices to "skyrocket"?

I concur.

Bill "gas prices too obvious to even mention" S.

Do you know the whole context of his commens on bankruptcy and coal
plants or not. That is, are you lying or are you just ignorant?

None of this matters; Obama's true nature will soon be evident.

Great, I'll take it. If six months to a year from now, we're
living in an Islamic and/or socialist republic, you can
come back and say you told me so (assuming Usenet
has not been banned). If Obama turns out just to be a
liberal rather than a crypto-socialist, though, no candy
for you. In the meantime,

Here's the thing Sorni: You complain when people re-post a core
statement of yours but don't include what you believe is important
context or background.

The selective quoting above is different - it changes the meaning of
what is said itself.

Not the same.
