Can anyone think of another rider who was less gracious, more whiney,
and more likely to put his foot in his mouth than C Evans???

He's now blaming the neutral support folks for likely costing him
victory in La Vuelta.

Yeah, big time whiner, on the other hand it's hard to understand what
the Mavic car is there for if they can't provide assistance.

Yes, but is it a big, fluffy dog, or one of those tiny, yappy kind?

He giving his own equipment guys a free pass? I figure if your guys do
it right and you don't hit the potholes (your fault) and there aren't
no stinking cobblestones (freebie for GH), you shouldn't need the
nuetral guys. Man, would he ever complain about the early Tours.

Have no sympathy for the guy. Last time I broke down (used up all my
patches and tubes the day after high school graduation day and then on
the long downhill with nowhere to go, all that nice shiney glass stuff
- again), I had to hitch a ride in the back of a pickup full of
migrant workers. The ones that finally stopped, after all the shiney
cars drove past. Didn't hear me complaining about really, really
nuetral support.

It's the faster pace of life in the 21st century. Lemond took almost 15
years to become whiny and ingracious whereas Evans got to the same place in
about 3.

I blame iPhones and digital cameras.
