Default FIAC National Championships for 2005

FIAC will hold eleven National Championships in 2005, including five

as follows.
Team Time Trial May 22 Peoria, Oregon
Criterium May 30 Golden, Colorado
Six Day [1] June 13-18 Alpenrose Velodrome, Oregon
Stage Race June 25-27 Baker, Oregon
Hill Climb July 24 Mt. Evans, Colorado
Cyclocross Nov. 13 [2] Watsonville, California

Notes:

[2] Possibly later

These championships are to be run under FIAC Racing Rules
http://www.fiac.us/racing.htm and only riders who hold an annual

receive national champion’s jerseys, the top three will receive medals,
and 4th through 10th will receive certificates.

I believe that the FIAC board was thinking of expanding the national
championship program incrementally by going from four championships last
year to eleven this year. Future plans will depend on finding quality
venues, organizers and suitable geographical diversity.

For more information about the Federation of Independent Associations
for Cycling (FIAC), see http://www.fiac.us.
