It was a wild night at home.
Even so it was fine enuff this morning to set off for a usual mob ride
around the lake. It was around 6am so still dark.
As I got closer to town the lake path became harder to see as it was
covered in leaves and assorted crap.
Even closer to town it was ankle deep hail.
Just localised around the Canberra city area.

Brave schmave - blissfully unaware of the conditions at ANU (8-inch deep
ice drifts and mud everywhere) I took my road bike that morning. Needless
to say I had to go a bit slower than the MTBers

It was damned cool tho - no cars around the uni (yay) and lots of mist
coming off the ice making it look like a zombie movie set
