FS: Tandem Rear Wheel
This was on my Trek Tandem and I replaced it since I was having a hard time
getting the hub rebuilt. Hub: Hugi Compact HRDT-1.1 Shimano compatible freehub. Off side threaded for disk or whatever. Rim: Matrix The original hub guts were too old to rebuild so the interior was replaced with the latest stuff as of some three years ago. For instance, the rotating components of the ratchet are opposite of what they were in the original hub. While still a loud freehub it is NOTHING like the original which could be heard freewheeling from a block away. The braking surfaces show almost no wear and the bike didn't have a rear disk when I was using it. So this rear wheel which is nearly indestructible and rebuilt with all new Hugi factory components is well worth the $150 + shipping I'm asking. |
