“They (the cyclist) went right into the side of the car and didn’t see
it because there were two buses there in the way.”

You need to read the above with a Scouse accent.

maybe the report is wrong, since there is also this one, both women
cyclists, both in the side of a vehicle, both in Liverpool

Both Upper Parliament Street (with its western extension, Parliament
Street) and St James Place ARE bus routes.
