Padded Y-Fronts
Hi
I am using padded cycling shorts and find them to be fantastic for comfort, and the fact that they are breathable makes a big difference. However, as I am more used to Y-fronts rather than boxer type underpants I wondered if there are any good padded Y-front style short-liners ? Any advice gratefully received Regards -- David Mossop |

Not sure if I've understood quite right, but do be aware that cycle shorts can be (and often are) used with no underpants at all. Fewer things to chafe this way. That's right. Have no padding in pants or shorts, get a solid tyre and one of these saddles:- www.sheldonbrown.com/real-man.html ~PB |

Use Ti bolts and you might save a gramme or two as well! That is what I have got now but I find it a bit uncomfortable as you can "tuck your bits in" with Y-fronts, where-as with the cycle shorts (Lusso 8 panel, coolmax with insert) your bits are just kind of sitting there. If you see what I mean. Although a picture speaks a thousand words. . . maybe not in this case. Wiggle have these http://www.wiggle.co.uk/v2_product_d...dID=5360008835 but not in my size :O( -- David Mossop |

Everyone is different, ordinary, good quality shorts work for me. -- The Reply & From email addresses are checked rarely. http://www.mseries.freeserve.co.uk |
