Is it just me, or does anyone else cringe slightly when the word
"phase" (or its homonyms) is used in describing problems of some sort,
due to the rampant overuse of phase-this and phase-that and
out-of-phase-wierdly-somehow in the various Star Trek series? By the
time we'd seen the third searon of Voyager, "phase" problems had
become such a cliche that the word was almost to the point of being a
drinking game token.

With the exit of Brannon Braga from the Franchise, perhaps we have
left that phase of Star Trek's existence...and none too soon, if it's
the case.
