ya'll've been such a great help and i know there's years of great and
expert experience to be tapped--so where should i go in the countries
ya'll've been givin' me **** about (especially myanmar/burma and
cambodia--i know thailand like the back of my ****in' hand). seems
that some of you dudes are former military (even special ops an'

Selat Melaka ... you suggested Santa Barbara in another post ... some
decent sailors have come out of there. Perhaps you know how to sail as
well as ride. You could always ride Malaysia ... sail Selat Melaka ...
ride Sumatra ... then turn it around and head back. I'm sure Boatboy
would agree ... it's a once in a life time trip.

You really got to get out of that touristy mainland crap ... give
Sulawesi a go as well.

For my money ...I'd take Africa. Ghana is my choice ... should be
there in ...well soon. Might be good for you too. Fly in to Accra.
Nice folks in general, malaria is a bit of a problem and the waters
are a bit sharky. From there you can take your "whip"and head out to
Côte d'Ivoire, Liberia, Guinea, Burkina Faso ....

R

Ghana really is a hidden jewel ... forget I mentioned it.
