Have it in your head that you can hop this, even say it out loud a few
times. Never think that you can't do something otherwise you will not
put every last bit of energy you have into it since you think you'll
fail anyways so it doesn't matter. To practice tuck stretch your leg,
do squats on the unicycle hold onto a wall if you have to. Next thing
that helped me was cutting out the prehop, at this point you want to
focus on technique/ form your ultimate goal is not to get as high as
you can, that comes later. Get the tuck down, be able to stand up
smoothly with no prehops. Once you've got that stuff down you'll be
able to get much higher, you'll have every part of the technique down
except prehop which you'll need to get really high. Seriously though, I
prefer compressing the tire with my legs it's much more stable and I've
been able to get 30in this way, smooth. I actually can't hop as high
prehopping anymore, I'm still working on the technique.

Good luck and hop happy.

How many times have people posted about hopping advice? Theres tons of
stuff on here about it, I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time
you've posted a thread about the same exact thing either. The only
thing which is going to get you better is practice and common sense.
When one thing isn't working try it a slightly different way. Look at
people's form in videos and just practice. No words will have help you
with it, its the technique and muscle memory gained from practice.
