Default fork 1' and 1/8 on 1" frame?

Can anybody tell me if there is something like a "thinner" headset
that I can use to put a modern fork of 1' and 1/8 size on an older
frame that has a 1" head tube?
Thanks
Luca

I'd check with a heavy metal stage craft specialist.

Small fork in big head tube is simple.
Big fork in small head tube not so much.

You might try to swap it for a 1" fork.

Unless the frame is getting scrapped otherwise, in which case cut
longitudinally through the headtube and braze a new one to the
remnants of the old. Funky!
