I have no idea how well it sands, I do know however that you wouldn't
want to breath it in.

That was a Wallis base, yeah. The same setup I've got on my street uni
except I got one without the threaded bolt inserts.

Wait, are you even sure you ordered a KH base? I know people make quite
a few mistakes when they order and forget to select certain options.

Check your order/receipt e-mail they sent, and make sure it says KH
styled in the description. If it says that, its their fault, and it
will be worth it to just send it back and get the right shape.

Though if it was your fault for not really checking things over when
ordering, well then, tough luck I guess. Sorry. I dont think UDC would
really refund things on user error, but you could still try.

Hope you get it working.

A CF base will be the next thing I buy. I broke my post not too long
ago and replaced that with a CroMo one, but now I feel like the base
will break next, and then the rim. lol

I think the whole deal bout the foam is easily solved by puttung the
cover on pretty tight.... so all i really gotta do is sand arount the
front a bit and sand the edges down a bit and it should be sweet.
the back bumper fits really well in the first place so i just need the
front done and the edges not to rip the cover.
the i can bend my post a little to account for the bottom and it
should be good.

so i think im gonna do it.
what u think Brian??

and for Jerrick

Personally, I prefer the shape of Miytata (Wallis) bases. They've got
less curve in them and since the sidewalls are higher theres more room
to grip during SIF.

By far, Miyata style seat are way better. Especially with a Kinport
handle.

Did you ordered the saddle or your father or mother did it. Maybe they
saw "standard" so they pick the miyata style.

Thats why I said they would only refund if its actually what he
ordered.

Also, Jerrick, I thought you said there was no reason to get a CF base?
You just need proper form right? Isn't that what you said?

unidude I'd just go for it. The foam really isn't an issue. Like you
said, once you tighten down the cover theres no problem with it.

My handle never sat flush in my base. I just tightened it in. there is a
white line where the handles stretch from tightening them, but I have
yet to break one there.
