Valverde in the WC after all?

The Spanish cycling federation and the CSD (the equivalent to the ministry
of Sports and initiator of the Operacion Puerto) are going to reject the
request from UCI to keep Valverde out of the WC 2007. Additionally they
claim they will defend the cyclist judicially if necessary and are ready to
sue UCI or anybody going after the rider.

I have the impression that this is going to end with the Spanish team not
coming to Stuttgart followed by some lawsuit agains the organizers or sth
like that.
