Hammond Positive for Pain Killers!!!!
"Nev Shea" wrote in message nk.net... Roger Hammond broke his thumb on Wed and he's racing P-R tomorrow. So I'm wondering what's not on the banned substance list besides aspirin that they can use to kill the pain? About all the cyclingnews article says is he'll have a plaster cast on it. |

What is with the stupid misleading subject line(s)? I guess we are
seeing the trickle down influence of these maggots (CP, MG et al) that post 50 to 100 times per day with nothing but BS. Charles & Camilla wrote: "Nev Shea" wrote in message nk.net... About all the cyclingnews article says is he'll have a plaster cast on it. Tylenol, Advil, Naprosyn and maybe a few others I am forgetting. BTW, the term "painkiller" is a huge misnomer. Most of those drugs and even opioid pain meds are for "pain management". Any serious pain is not going to be "killed" by any aural anesthetic. I suppose he could also ask for a local anesthetic but that would perhaps lead to other problems. I personally would not let him race unless there just is nobody else that has the form. I guess since he was on the podium last year it would be really hard to say "no" to him though. |

That's got to be a pretty strong aural anaesthetic. Peter |
