Default Landis impressive today, but...

....it's a bit appalling to think how he rode like an iron in the
Dauphiné. You would never have seen a guy like Hinault or Merckx take
such a beating a month before the TdF, I guess they don't make them
like that anymore, eh ? Sure things have changed, but in my book a
champ is a champ and Landis was a chump in the Dauphine.

Bet Floyd would rather wear yellow in the Tour rather than in the
Dauphine. Leipheimer would, too.

True, still hard to explain how he could be 15 minutes down on the
Ventoux and the Toussure and riding everyone off his wheel today.

Geez, maybe the guy just had a bad day. You could see how that
might happen when the bones in your leg are scraping against
each other with each bloody pedal stroke.

Dumbass -

Don't be a jackass. Even Merckx "only" won 1/3 of his races in his
prime and Landis is no Eddy Merckx.

thanks,

K. Gringioni.
