Default Converting 1 piece crank to 3 piece

Can I convert a 1 piece crank (cone & cup BB) to three piece by simply
buying a tapered spindle and inserting it in place of the 1 piece crank
(I have several 3 piece cranksets)?

Thanks

We have inexpensive conversion bushings that will let you do install a
standard threaded bottom bracket.
