Default help! LARGE spd-shoes

Hi!

I'm a new user of bicycles.misc.

I come from Poland and I've got one question to You.
I have ENORMOUS problem, because I've got a large foot. I'm looking for an
SPD-shoes ( it's no matter which will be a brand, type, colour, etc.....)
The most important is a size!!!!!. My foot is 31,5 cm long (it's near 12,4
inches = 1,03 foots). My usual shoes ADIDAS (R) are number 16(US) = 15(UK) =
(51 1/3)FR = 335(JP). This size is good for me. Are there any this
large-size SPD-schoes????? Are these shoes in Poland/Europe???? I heard that
SIDI (type: Eagle, Dominator) and DIADORA (type: Cayman) product large-size
shoes. Could You help me?????
Colud you send me a links, photos and any informations about
big-SPD-shoes????

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
Maras

I have 15EE feet and I got some SIDI Dominators. I had to do a good
bit of searching for a dealer who had them in stock, and finally found
a pair. They were Euro sized, I think. Anyway, the length wasn't the
more critical dimension for me, it was the width and the volume of the
"toe-box". Those dimensions were satisfied only by the SIDI.

Diadora used to make big shoes but they gave it up.

Good luck.

"Hi there-

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. We have had some server issues
last week and email was down. I'm afraid we don't deal with any distributors
that offer shoes in an appropriate size for you. Good luck in your search.

I think the Sidi "Mega" model would be the best for you. I have similar size
feet, and have this model. It's expensive, but very well made. The following
link is for a MTB model, there's also a road model, nearly identical except
for no tread on sole.

Size 15 US. Translates to something like 52 Euro if memory serves.

The EE is a measure of width. I wear 4E running shoes (New Balance
sells them).

Hi Maras,

I use Euro 50 and have found Sidi and Nike make large sizes.

The problem is ordering to a dealer without being able to try them on
first. Most dealers don't want to be sitting with a pair of shoes they
will never sell, so all I have spoken to said I would have to pay first.

But if you order online from an online store you can probably send them
back if they are too small.

Good luck!

Joseph

I wear SIDI Dominator Mega shoes in a size 52 Euro which work fine. I
hunted all over for a dealer that stocked them. I am racking my brain
to find out from whom I bought them, but without success thus far.

My brain size is no match for my shoe size, I fear.
