RLJ cyclist hospitalises 81 year old and scarpers
Audrey has been left with a number of injures, including minor fractures
around her left eye socket, a fractured left cheek, a cut on her forehead, concussion and a bleed to the brain. Sue says all her siblings are shocked and they can't understand why anyone would ride off. "The police told us she did nothing wrong, the light went green for her to cross. I can't understand why anyone would do this and then ride off." https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/w...olice-16562465 |

What is the connection between that "statistic" (whatever its status) and this shocking incident? |

You didn't need to. Even with English being something you struggle with, the title of the book ("Basic English") was clear enough within the URL. "The police told us she did nothing wrong, the light went green for her to cross." If the Police were not on scene how do they know this? Have you asked them? |
