Default Candidate for congress in spandex?

An interesting little article by Alex Alben, who recently lost the
Democratic primary for congress in my district.According to the article, one
of his big decisions was whether or not to where spandex in one of his
campaign spots. Me, I love men in spandex, but that's not the reason why I
voted for him.Article he

I thought some of the responses we received about bicycling from local
candidates were interesting.

It's nice to see some of the candidates support biking. Our governor
certainly supports biking here in Ohio.

That's disgusting. Only _one_ candidate says they use their bike for
transportation. The others "used to cycle" or they play around on
paths and trails.

The majority of the responses favoured ghettoising cyclists with bike
lanes and paths. I'd not vote for them nor even give them the time of
day. They yap that crap because the majority of voting wussy bikers
claim that's what they require to feel safe on their bikes.

They all talk a good game but once elected they're slapped with the
reality that they're powerless against the road gang's cartel and
their sleaze ball lobbyists.
