Default How to access Audax membership site

I have been sent my membership confirmation and password. Fine.

I have just tried to log on to the site and it asks for memno/password.
Fine

BUT

On the confirmation letter my membership is given the first time as
alphanumeric, and then later as just numeric.

Which do i use?

and secondly

After putting in my memno in the password bit, do I put the forward
slashbefore the "password" bit.

Getting onto my bank site is way easier!!

Numeric only. The single letter tells when in the year you joined, or
something.

slashbefore the "password" bit.

I just put in my password, no slash.

Numeric, and then the six character password. The letter is a year
identifier.

No, just the six character password. Might be worth asking exactly the
same question on the Audax list. They might be persuaded to rephrase
the membership letter or put some clearer info on the web site.

the h*ll did it not say to do that?????

thanks for the replies.

and yes my bank is still easier to get to but thankfully I'm in the Audax

No, just your membership number. I thought the 'membership
number/password please' was fairly clear. The labels 'Name' and
'Password' are the fault of your web browser not the audax site.

Put your membership number (digits only) in the Name box and password
in the password box

Francis should really put some nice session handling code in but that
would run into issues with those with an irrational fear of cookies.

The letter at the start is a year code. The (four-digit?) number is what
you need to enter, without the letter.
